Industrial Security Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior)
Location:

Shift: 1st Shift
- Assist with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
- Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action.
- Assist with Administrative Inquiries (collects and analyzes data, writes reports and interviews) on personnel, processes and situations to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
- Assist with Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (including inventory, distribution and destruction).
- Assist in protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.
- Develop, implement and administer an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs.
- Perform Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses.
- Assist in developing and conducting security awareness training and education programs to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.
- Assist in sub-contractor management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements.
- Demonstrate proficiency with/utilize specific databases to determine personnel eligibility to access classified information – DISS, Scattered Castles, JADE, JADS, Enterprise Security Systems (SIMS), and other databases and record-keeping repositories.
- Conduct initial and recurring security briefings to cleared workforce members on topics such as critical program information, marking, safeguarding and destroying classified information, operations security, physical and communication security, and other security training as required.
- Manage personnel records, classified material records and/or other sensitive records to ensure the highest levels of data integrity and correctness.
- Conduct inventories and records reconciliation actions to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Prepare activity or program concept of operation (CONOPs) outlining unique security protection requirements for sensitive operations; establishing procedures for protecting, handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materials.
- Coordinate across the security workforce, Boeing engineering, managerial and technical teams, senior Boeing personnel and U.S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals, security rulings or deviations as may be required.
Minimum
Education Required:
High School/GED.
- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years, or enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years.
- 3+ years of experience in Industrial Security.
- 3+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook).
Other Requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a successful U.S. government polygraph examination.
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A clearance active in the past 24 months is considered active.
- Successful candidate must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process.
Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities, with mid-level pay range of $94,350 – $127,650 and senior-level range of $119,000 – $161,000.
