SCI Security Specialist with Security Clearance

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SCI Security Specialist I to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This role supports the local Special Security Office (SSO) in managing day-to-day Collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities to protect critical national security assets. Responsibilities
* Formulate local policies, plans, and procedures required to manage SCI protection functions in strict accordance with DoD, DNI, and Air Force regulations.

* Maintain and update the SCI Billet Structure (SCIBS) and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) records for over 1,000 indoctrinated personnel.

* Review eligibility requests, conduct screening interviews, perform indoctrination briefings, and issue facility badge access.

* Investigate security incidents alongside the SSO and ISSM, coordinate with higher headquarters for tracking numbers, and guide Inquiry Officials through the resolution process.

* Provide continuous operational security (OPSEC), communications security (COMSEC), and classification marking training to personnel.

* Coordinate industrial security procedures by reviewing Performance Work Statements (PWS) and ensuring the proper execution of DD Form 254.

* Assist the SSO in maintaining facility accreditation and alarm systems for all designated SCI Facilities (SCIFs) in accordance with ICD 705.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

* 3+ years of related experience working directly with SCI Security program functions.

* Must complete DISS/JPAS training within six months of starting on contract

* Familiarity with government security policy manuals, including applicable ICDs, JAFANs, and DoD Manuals. Clearance Requirements
* Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.

* A willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph is required.

Physical Requirements
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

* The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside and out of the office to access files, cabinets, and safes.

* The person in this position must be willing to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility via both air and ground transportation.
