General Summary
Under the direction of the Facilities Director, the Lead Facilities Technician provides skilled training in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and/or HVAC systems. This position is responsible for maintaining club building operations while providing the highest level of service to members. All associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and hospitality to all members and guests and consistently demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
PrimaryJob Functions
- Learn and apply the company’s standard operating procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance of the building, including pool vacuuming, testing and adjusting pool water chemicals, plumbing, light electrical and painting.
- Restock supplies, replenish inventory and products.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Greet members and guests throughout the property.
- Understand and anticipate the needs of the property.
- Be attentive and listen carefully to members, following through on requests.
- Follow up as required and communicate in a timely manner.
- Be an active participant in events, programs, meetings and training.
- Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow‑through and response.
- Schedule is flexible and may require weekend, holiday, day and evening hours.
- Minimum three (3) years of building operations experience; previous lead experience preferred.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with skills in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and drywall.
- Strong leadership, team management and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent customer service attitude and communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical manuals, procedures and training materials.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Organized, detail oriented and self‑motivated with a willingness to acquire new skills.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and drywall.
- Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to facility systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Physical Requirements
The associate is regularly required to sit, stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. Occasionally, they must walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

EstimatedBase Pay Range
$25.00 - $32.50 per hour
BenefitsClub membership, competitive compensation, discounts on club services and amenities, continuing education, community involvement, paid time off, and health insurance (offered to full‑time associates). Full‑time status eligibility starts at 25 average hours of work per week.
