Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Location:

Employment type:
Onsite. Requires U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable Top Secret U.S. Government security clearance.
- Supports all aspects of a software development life cycle as part of a multi‑disciplined team.
- Designs, develops, integrates, tests, and documents real‑time software for new and legacy military and commercial programs.
- Provides creative solutions to complex technical and software integration problems.
- Collaborates with Systems Engineers to design solutions that meet user and operational needs.
- Occasional business‑related travel may be required.
- Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with C++ design paradigms and real‑time operating systems such as Linux or VxWorks.
- Experience developing, testing, and integrating real‑time C++ software applications.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python).
- Active and transferable U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance required before start.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience coding in C, C#, Java or related languages.
- Experience working with physical hardware in laboratory environments (test benches, simulators).
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and legacy code bases.
- Experience with Scrum or other Agile product‑development practices.

Salary range: $95,500 – $181,700 USD.
