Software Engineer, C++ Developer

What You Will DoSupports all aspects of the software development life cycle as a member of a multi‑disciplined team. This includes working on new and legacy military and commercial programs from concept and requirements, to design, development, integration, test and potential subsequent maintenance. Provides creative technical solutions to complex software integration problems and collaborates closely with Systems Engineers to design solutions that meet end‑user and operational needs.
Occasional business‑related travel may be required.
U.S. citizen or U.S. Person able to obtain an active and transferable Secret security clearance on day 1. U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
Required Qualifications- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing, testing and integrating real‑time software applications in C++ or closely related languages.
- Experience with computer scripting languages such as Shell, Perl or Python.
- Active and transferable U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance required before start date.
- Experience with Linux, VxWorks or other real‑time operating systems.
- Experience working in laboratory environments with physical hardware (test benches, simulators).
- Strong ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
- Experience with product development utilizing Agile Scrum techniques.
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops pipeline implementation, including static code analysis, automated build and automated test techniques using continuous integration/continuous delivery and test‑driven development.
- Hands‑on experience with Git for version control and Git Lab for repository management.
USD 75,800 – 144,200 (based on experience)
