Satellite Data Systems Full‑Stack Software Engineer (Experienced/Senior)

Responsibilities- Develop and maintain robust client‑side, server‑side, desktop applications, and services that power mission‑critical satellite systems.
- Design and implement APIs and web services to enable seamless data exchange across platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to integrate diverse capabilities.
- Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and reliability in complex environments.
- Troubleshoot, modify, and upgrade complex applications to maintain functionality and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code, accompanied by thorough test cases, adhering to industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Document complex system designs and application workflows clearly and comprehensively.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills as a self‑starter.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance (Post‑Start).
- 3+ years of experience leading projects and/or individuals in software development lifecycle tasks.
- Experience working in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) using appropriate code versioning, build and test automation tools.
- Experience/proficiency with Java.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading software teams and/or projects.
- Proficiency with the Git Lab ecosystem, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
- Proficiency with Java EE, Maven, SQL, XML, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bash, CI/CD, REST, gRPC.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Quarkus, Kotlin, Thymeleaf, Tailwind.
- Proficiency with Java Swing/FX.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Proficiency with Red Hat/Oracle Linux.
- Proficiency with Coverity, Sonar Qube.
- Experience building micro‑services.
Required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post‑Start is required.

Pay & BenefitsPay ranges are based on experience and qualifications:
- Experienced: $114,750 – $155,250.
- Senior: $136,850 – $185,150.
