Senior Software Engineer - Embedded Development (Space and RF Sensors)
Location and Role TypeEl Segundo, CA – Onsite, U.S. citizen required, active DoD Secret security clearance.
What You Will DoContribute to the full lifecycle of software products, including architecture, design, integration, testing, and field support. May lead a small software team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and using Agile/Scrum practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement software for embedded systems (C++, Java, Python).
- Participate in SDLC activities: architecture, design, integration, testing, debugging, and field support.
- Use version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines to deliver secure, high-quality code.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner with external customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency with C++, Java, Python or similar languages.
- Experience with SDLC, integration and testing, debugging tools, and version control.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Self-motivated problem solver with initiative and strong documentation skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Experience with OOD principles, Agile, Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development.
- Experience on Linux/Red Hat, Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD pipelines, secure software development.
- Experience with Generative AI/ML, gRPC and Protobufs, RTOS (Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY).
- Familiarity with Open Systems Architectures, modular design principles.
- Domain knowledge in radars, EO/IR, EW, network communications, datalinks, platform integration, weapons/effects, command and control, multi-domain airborne sensor fusion.

Salary Range95,500 USD – 181,700 USD.
