What You Will Do
As a member of the team, you will work with cutting‑edge technology and contribute to programs that safeguard lives. Your duties include designing, implementing, testing, and supporting software for space and RF sensor applications, and you may lead a small software team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain embedded software in C++, Java, Python or similar.
- Participate in all stages of the software life cycle: architecture, design, integration, testing, and field support.
- Use version‑control systems (Git) and continuous‑integration pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and document systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 5 years of relevant software experience.
- Proficiency in C++, Java, Python or equivalent programming languages.
- Experience in the SDLC, including integration, testing, debugging, and use of tools.
- Experience with Git and other version‑control systems.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Self‑motivated problem solver with proactive initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Object‑oriented design (OOD) principles and practices.
- Agile lifecycle experience (Scrum, CI/CD, test‑driven development).
- Development on Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS.
- Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops practices and secure software development.
- Experience leveraging generative AI or machine learning.
- Experience with gRPC and Protobufs.
- Experience with Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, or other RTOS.
- Familiarity with open systems architectures and modular design principles.
- Domain knowledge in radars, EO/IR, EW, network communications, datalinks, platform integration, weapons/ effects, command & control, multi‑domain airborne sensor fusion, and tracking.
