Job Title:
Truck Driver (Local, Class B Driver) – Onsite – ElSegundo, California
- Drive, load, and unload vans, pick‑up trucks, and straight trucks; use material handling equipment to move aerospace and defense material
- Utilize handheld scanners for material movement tracking
- Coordinate with drivers, expeditors, and management to meet delivery schedules
- Assist with expediting deliveries from truck to lab
First shift (6am‑11am). Driver starts and ends each shift at the Raytheon ElSegundo campus. Routes include ElSegundo campus and off‑site locations such as LAX, Fullerton, Pt.Mugu, China Lake, Palmdale, and Buena Park.
Qualifications You Must Have- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid ClassB Combo driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Air Brake Endorsement
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. secret clearance after the start date
- Commitment to safety and company safety rules
- Ability to lift 25lb and operate pallet jacks and other material handling devices with higher weight capacity
- Certification for safe operation of forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- Experience securing loads with chains, straps, bars, etc.
- Knowledge of DOT rules (DVIRs, HOS, DQ)
- Experience with MS Office (Excel)
- Hourly wage range of $24.62 to $27.50
