PositionSummary
The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role involves leading infrastructure projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains infrastructure architecture standards and best practices.
- Plans and implements scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
- Manages servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments.
- Performs system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
- Monitors system performance and implements improvements.
- Ensures high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Implements security controls and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conducts vulnerability assessments and remediation.
- Conducts desktop support for onsite employees as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related roles.
- Strong experience with:
- Windows/Linux server administration
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPN)
- Virtualization (Nutanix)
- Group Policy Management
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with automation tools (Power Shell, InTune)
- Certifications in AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified, Azure Administrator, Nutanix Certified Professional, or Cisco CCNP are a strong plus.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- This position requires a regular presence in the office.
