NSA's Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), are positioned to engage across the Intelligence Community. The LADP can provide intensive training with 4–5 operational tours, or direct hire into analytic missions. LADP lasts up to three years and does not teach a foreign language.
MDLAs analyze, translate, and synthesize information to support policymakers and national security goals. Applicants should have ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening for the target language.
