Job SummaryThis is a General Labor position within the erosion‑control division. The Crew Member–Driver installs silt fence, inlet protections, slope matting, and related services on residential and commercial sites, and drives a work truck. Experienced candidates may advance to a Crew Leader role.
Duties & Functions- Review daily work schedule with Crew Leader each morning.
- Assist with loading trucks with proper installation materials each morning.
- Drive company work truck to and from worksites, obeying traffic laws.
- Represent Greenrise Technologies in a professional manner to customers and homeowners.
- Complete all erosion‑control work to a high standard of excellence.
- Follow all safety protocols for vehicles, equipment, and site conduct.
- Install erosion‑control products per crew leader’s direction.
- Communicate effectively with operations managers and crew members.
- Achieve daily and weekly goals for crew’s silt fence installation output.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Relay important information, incident reports, or concerns through the proper chain of command.
Qualification & Standards:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
- Good listening skills and ability to follow directions.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills; team oriented.
- Commitment to customer service and professional representation.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Physically fit and able to work long days outside in the elements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
- Basic ability to read and write legibly.
- High character, honesty, and integrity.
- Work independently and with minimal supervision at times.
- Utilize good judgment and make sound decisions.
- Take initiative and proactively seek performance improvement.
- Experience with tools and equipment specific to erosion‑control installations (preferred).
- Experience pulling a trailer (preferred).
- Reliably own a cell phone.
- Competitive pay with additional overtime during peak times.
- Consistent hours in an essential industry.
- PTO begins accruing on Day 1 and available after 90 days.
