Commercial Gas Engineer Company Overview

• Service and maintain commercial heating systems and boilers
• Install, diagnose, and repair heating systems and domestic hot and cold water systems
• Install heating plant, domestic water plant, and water heaters
• Carry out pipework installation for water, gas, air and associated systems
• Operate press‑fit tools
• Complete reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance
• Work collaboratively with other trades on‑site
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building standards
• Complete job reports and associated documentation accurately
• Prepare material lists and support apprentices when required
• Participate in the on‑call rota to provide emergency support
• Undertake additional duties in line with business requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing
• Valid Commercial Gas
  
  Qualifications:
  
  COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1A
• LPG qualification (desirable)
• OFTEC 101, 105E & 600A (desirable)
• Unvented Hot Water Storage certification
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Professional and customer‑focused approach
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

£40,000 – £43,000 basic salary

• Core working hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (30‑minute lunch break)
