SummaryChamberlain Advisors is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mailroom Sorter / Mail Services Clerk to support daily mailroom and internal distribution operations within a fast‑paced corporate environment for a leading, national pharmaceutical retail corporation. This position plays an important role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and internal correspondence while maintaining organized workflow across business departments.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable in a physically active role, and capable of balancing repetitive operational tasks with basic administrative and computer‑based responsibilities. What You Will Be Accountable For- Receive, sort, organize, and distribute incoming mail, interoffice correspondence, and packages according to established procedures
- Prepare outgoing mail and shipments, including packaging, labeling, postage processing, and coordination with delivery carriers
- Scan, log, track, and route mail or packages using internal systems or basic computer applications
- Maintain organized mailroom operations, ensuring documents and deliveries are accurately categorized and routed to appropriate departments
- Handle package movement and material transport throughout the facility, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds
- Monitor incoming deliveries and assist with receipt verification and documentation as needed
- Support inventory organization for shipping/mailroom supplies including labels, envelopes, packaging materials, and office shipping resources
- Assist with data entry, delivery confirmations, and basic reporting related to mailroom activity
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency within the mailroom workspace
- Follow company procedures related to confidentiality, document handling, workplace safety, and secure package processing
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in mailroom operations, shipping/receiving, clerical support, warehouse support, records management, or administrative operations preferred
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and familiarity with standard business systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume repetitive workflows accurately
- Ability to remain on feet for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured operational processes
- Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent Monday–Friday onsite schedule
- Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
