The Supply Leader actively participates in various assignments in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Import/Export, and Quality. This is a high-impact role designed for a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable managing high-level vendor negotiations and "hands-on" warehouse optimization. Deep functional understanding of chemicals solvents, mineral oils, polymers, pigments, dyes, additives, waxes, and extrusion equipment etc. The Supply Chain Leader will establish relationships with peers and leaders and learn fundamentals.

Develop pricing and costing for raw materials, work with various suppliers and develop strategic plan for sourcing. Upholds and supports organizational goals and values. Ability to handle multiple activities and must be outgoing, self-driven, pleasant & very personable. Position is in Elgin, IL with frequent travel to Addison, IL and Sheboygan, WI and reports to Corporate Supply Chain Director. This position is intended to transition into a Supply Chain Manager role with direct reports.

• Strategic Road mapping: Partner with executive leadership to develop long-term visions and annual tactical plans to optimize supply chain performance.
• System Implementation: Drive the proper implementation and continuous refinement of the ERP system to ensure operational transparency.
• S&OP Management: Refine demand forecasting for Sales & Operations Planning to align production with market requirements.

• Strategic Sourcing: Direct all direct and indirect procurement for raw materials, machinery components, and corporate services.
• Negotiation & Lifecycle Management: Negotiate and manage the full purchase order lifecycle from issuance through to payment processing.
• Omnichannel Procurement: Manage diverse sourcing channels, including industrial suppliers and e-commerce platforms while overseeing returns and credit processing.
• Supplier Quality: Resolve quality-related supplier claims and partner with vendors to maintain high service and material standards.
• Inventory & Warehouse Operations
• Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with the Plant Manager to balance raw material and finished goods levels, ensuring 100% order fulfillment while minimizing carrying costs.
• Warehouse Excellence: Oversee warehouse organization, labeling standards, and storage protocols to maximize space and efficiency.
• Financial Integrity: Work closely with the Controller to manage invoicing and manage ERP costing updates, ensuring accurate Raw Material Cost (RMC) data.

• Global Logistics: Optimize freight expenditures and manage Import/Export tasks, balancing cost-efficiency with loss prevention.
• Risk & Compliance: Manage ISO audit compliance across facilities and maintain rigorous quality documentation.
• Operational Support: Facilitate critical material movements between company and supplier sites to ensure zero production downtime.
