Job Overview
We’re looking for an early-career or entry-level Buyer who wants to build a career in operations, supply chain, and procurement. At Pure Processing, we design and manufacture equipment that helps hospitals protect patients. Every sale you make improves safety for clinicians and the people they care for. That’s real impact.
You don’t need decades of experience. What matters most is curiosity, organization, time management, and the drive to learn. Because we’re a small, high-growth company, this role offers something many entry-level jobs don’t:
Real responsibility. Real Impact. Real career acceleration.
- Daily execution and management of purchasing activities.
- ERP system – execution of supplier purchase orders, daily/weekly management of inventory quantities, minimum and maximum thresholds, and allocation of inventory to customer orders.
- Enhance dashboards and reporting on inventory balances, reorder points, open POs, and overdue receipts.
- Execute and approve paperwork with three-way matching.
- Forecast purchasing needs monthly and quarterly with costs and timing, anticipating lead times.
- Source and develop new suppliers for products.
- Manage quality control of products – work with capital and warehouse teams on returns and credits from vendors on product defects or quality issues.
- The Buyer is responsible for purchasing and ERP management, including sourcing, executing, and managing costs of inventory and all inbound shipments.
- Love working with numbers, spotting trends, and asking and answering questions through data.
- Thrive in systems, processes, and checking things off a list. Completing a puzzle, project, or solving a difficult problem is super satisfying.
- Looking to enter the rewarding field of medical; helping others and doing important work is meaningful.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work with time-sensitive projects.
- Experience with purchasing or negotiating prices and terms.
- Ability to analyze data, work with trends, and use data to make informed decisions.
- Strong customer service-related skills, including phone and e‑mail etiquette and timely communication.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Full benefits package including:
- 401(k) with company match.
- Health insurance.
- 100% company-paid short‑ and long‑term disability.
- Up to $50,000 in company‑paid life and AD&D coverage.
- Generous PTO and paid holidays, including Summer Hour Fridays.
- A high‑growth company that promotes from within.
- A respected brand that customers trust and welcome.
