Position: CRO at a PE-Backed Professional Services Business

SEARCH MANDATE

Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Revenue Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a professional services business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

COMPENSATION

Its sector specialties include defense, aerospace, critical infrastructure services, industrial & medical technology, life sciences, and specialty materials. Today, the sponsor owns over 50 portfolio companies and over $10B in cumulative capital commitments.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

  • Business Model:
    High-volume B2B professional services
  • Functional:
    Top commercial leader of a $40mm–$150mm B2B services business OR number two commercial leader within a larger organization with direct responsibility for $150mm–$400mm in revenue
  • Orientation:
    Heavy sales orientation is required with complementary experience across go-to-market strategy, Rev Ops, pricing, building teams and commercial operations
  • Private Equity:
    Preferred but not required
  • M&A:
    Solid integration integrating add-on acquisitions and centralizing commercial functions required
  • Tenure: 15-30+ years of progressive commercial leadership success
