Role Overview
Witt Kieffer, a 57‑year‑old executive search and leadership advisory firm, seeks a Client Strategist to support the Commercial Strategy & Insights (CSI) team. The role contributes to client strategy and business development by applying market, client, and competitive intelligence in a fast‑paced professional services environment.
Work is remote. The base salary is $80,000 to $95,000, with a target bonus of 10% of base salary. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life and disability insurance, and generous paid time off.
Responsibilities- Support go‑to‑market strategy and business development through market, client, and competitive intelligence.
- Develop and apply insights into market opportunities, client needs, and segment priorities for real‑time business development.
- Analyze potential and existing clients to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps for solution positioning.
- Develop customized messaging and client‑credible materials for proposals, pitches, and conversations.
- Curate and recommend relevant Witt Kieffer publications for client situations.
- Contribute to quantitative and qualitative research initiatives related to leadership, talent, and market dynamics.
- Prepare data analyses, build data assets, and synthesize compelling insights for market‑facing materials.
- Conduct in‑depth research using internal and external sources and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred. - 2‑3 years of experience in consulting or a commercially oriented, professional services environment.
- Exposure to business development, pursuit support, or client‑proximate work.
- Commercial enablement skills: activate and facilitate market, client, and competitive insight.
- Judgment, prioritization, and execution rigor in fast‑paced, time‑sensitive settings.
- Project management experience coordinating complex initiatives across internal partners.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to analyze client situations and market signals.
- Market and client acumen in healthcare and life sciences.
- Data and CRM fluency; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
- AI‑enabled research and analysis experience.
- Clear and pragmatic communication skills.
