FINS Industry Advisor – Senior Position

Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Advisory

  • Design and facilitate executive workshops and strategic advisory sessions for key financial services accounts, delivering clear, actionable roadmaps that advance business outcomes.
  • Serve as the industry subject‑matter expert on high‑priority accounts, providing thought leadership and collaborating with sales and solutions teams on account planning.
  • Create industry‑specific storytelling content that links Salesforce capabilities to measurable business results.
  • Build trusting executive relationships to support both short‑term wins and long‑term partnerships.

Common Frameworks & Scaled Programs

  • Develop shared methodologies that create consistency across sub‑verticals.
  • Build field‑ready tools and enablement assets for sellers, enabling confident engagement.
  • Lead cross‑functional programs that align resources around high‑priority opportunities.
  • Translate industry knowledge into reusable resources that increase team effectiveness.

Specialist Team Partnership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the IA team and specialist sales organizations, establishing a strong operating rhythm.
  • Develop and deliver industry trend and solution content tailored to specialist sellers, supporting GTM motions.
  • Synthesize market intelligence into opportunity heatmaps that guide pipeline growth.
  • Co‑create solution playbooks that incorporate industry use cases, customer stories, competitive context, and clear calls to action for sellers.
Qualifications
  • 10‑15 years of experience in financial services, consulting, or related roles at a leading institution, software vendor, or professional services firm.
  • Deep expertise in banking, wealth management, and/or insurance with strategic insight into sub‑verticals.
  • Proven track record designing and facilitating executive workshops and advisory engagements that drive transformation.
  • Experience building common frameworks, scaled programs, or reusable assets in a matrixed GTM environment.
  • Hands‑on experience working with Salesforce and a strong vision for platform impact in financial services.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills spanning executive audiences to large keynotes.
  • Self‑starter who can multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Strong customer orientation and results‑driven operating style.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce products and the FINS solution portfolio.
Desired Experience (Benefits)
  • 10+ years in financial services.
  • Experience with Agentforce, agentic AI strategy, or multi‑cloud solution design.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, and/or Slack.
  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Participation in industry associations and a get‑it‑done operating style.
