Our esteemed executive search firm is actively sourcing for a Senior Buyer role for a top-tier manufacturing organization. This position is pivotal in streamlining and optimizing the procurement of commodities, equipment, materials, supplies, and services, requiring technical precision and a deep understanding of procurement standards and procedures.

Role Overview:
The Senior Buyer will oversee the entire procurement process, including preparing bid specifications, developing supplier relationships, sourcing commodities, awarding contracts, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring seamless invoicing and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services of superior quality.

Create comprehensive bid specifications and coordinate with Product and Sales Departments to maintain quality standards.

Advise departments on product availability, pricing, and sourcing, maintaining an updated database of products and suppliers.

Manage product discrepancies, including returns and credits.

Engage with suppliers regarding procurement, shipping, invoicing, and compliance.

Monitor procurement processes to ensure timely payments and invoice processing.

Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the company's success.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of ten years in procurement, with experience in technical solicitation documents.
Certification such as CPSM or C.P.M. is highly desirable.
Experience in supervisory roles is an advantage.
