We’re partnered with a growing commercial construction firm seeking a high-performing Project Manager to help lead ground-up construction projects across the Chicago market. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys owning projects from start to finish, and wants to be part of a company where their impact actually matters.
This role is ideal for an up-and-coming PM or Senior Assistant PM who is ready for larger responsibilities, bigger projects, and strong long-term growth.
What You’ll Be Doing- Manage ground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate schedules, budgets, subcontractors, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Work closely with field teams, superintendents, ownership, architects, and subcontractors to keep projects moving
- Help drive project success by proactively identifying risks and solving problems before they become issues
- Participate in owner meetings and help maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high standard of quality
- 4–10+ years of construction project management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of budgets, scheduling, subcontractor management, and project execution
- Ability to communicate effectively with both field and office teams
- Experience with commercial, mixed-use, municipal, education, healthcare, industrial, or similar projects is a plus

- Compensation up to $170,000 depending on experience
