Lead Photographer Media Campaigns

Job Summary

As a Staff Photographer at Macro Hype, you will be responsible for producing visually captivating photographs that support our global media campaigns, marketing materials, and corporate events. You will work closely with our creative team to conceptualize and execute photo shoots, ensuring that all imagery aligns with our brand’s vision and objectives. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio, a creative eye, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Capture high-resolution photographs for a variety of projects, including media campaigns, marketing collateral, corporate events, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with art directors, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver images that align with creative concepts and brand guidelines.
• Edit and retouch photos to ensure they meet Macro Hype’s quality standards and are optimized for various platforms and media.
• Manage and maintain photography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition and up-to-date with industry standards.
• Organize and archive digital assets in a structured and accessible manner, ensuring ease of retrieval and use.
• Stay current with photography trends, techniques, and technology to continually enhance the quality and relevance of your work.
• Plan and execute photo shoots, including location scouting, equipment setup, and directing subjects to achieve the desired results.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality images, meeting project deadlines and client expectations.

• Proven experience as a professional photographer with a robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work.
• Proficiency in photography equipment and editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom).
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and photo editing techniques.
• Ability to produce visually compelling images that align with creative briefs and brand standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
• Professional demeanour and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

• Experience in photographing media and marketing campaigns, corporate events, or similar projects.
• Knowledge of additional creative skills, such as video production or graphic design, is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Chicago Metro Area and its diverse locations for potential photo shoots.
• Ability to adapt to various photography styles and genres based on project requirements.
