ABOUT

THE ROLE

Newhaven Display is seeking a full-time Order Processing Specialist who is motivated, detail-oriented, and excels in building strong customer relationships. This position is for a self-starter who possesses the ability to follow complex procedures and adapt to varying scenarios. The role requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as each order may present unique challenges. Additionally, candidates must be technologically savvy to quickly learn and efficiently navigate our ERP system.

The successful candidate will act as a primary contact for order processing, product inquiries, inventory management, while also supporting our e-commerce operations.

Order Management
  • Receive, process, and manage customer orders from start to finish, assessing each order's specific requirements and determining necessary actions.
  • Confirm shipping details and ensure accurate delivery instructions.
  • Issue invoices, track payments, and provide timely follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with inventory teams to fulfill order requirements.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to orders and shipments.
System Management
  • Utilize and navigate the ERP system to input and retrieve order information accurately.
  • Handle customer communications via email with prompt follow-up.
  • Monitor daily release schedules and manage inventory arrivals and approvals.
Inventory Coordination
  • Work closely with relevant departments to expedite inventory and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Support Role
  • Collaborate with various departments to assist in resolution of any customer related concerns
  • Answer incoming phone calls and forward to appropriate departments
Customer Service
  • Provide excellent service to customers and represent the Company in the most professional way possible.
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Associate Degree or higher.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess unique order scenarios while determining appropriate actions.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.
  • Superior time management
    /organizational skills ensuring precision and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
  • MUST have the capability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities at once.
  • Exemplary follow-up skills utilizing professional, grammatically correct correspondence via email and phone.
  • Technologically savvy
    . Be able to quickly learn and efficiently use ERP systems; experience with Net Suite is a plus.
  • Proficient in current versions of Microsoft Office Suite
    , including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Self-motivated
    ;
    Capable of completing tasks with limited supervision.
  • Experience with electronics or display technologies is a plus.
