Your GoalThe primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance to dentists and hygienists in procedures routinely completed in a general dental practice, including chairside assisting, inventory management, and charting. This assistance also includes taking bite‑wing, full‑mouth and panoramic x‑rays, translation, oral hygiene instruction, sealant placement, coronal polish, and fluoride treatment.
How You’ll Help Patients- Prepare and set up instruments, rooms, materials, and equipment necessary for each procedure.
- Sterilize instruments and clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
- Accurately record information and charting on patient records as dictated by the dentist/hygienist.
- Effectively and efficiently take x‑rays as ordered by the dentist.
- Place sealants, provide oral hygiene instruction, and perform fluoride treatments under the diagnosis of the dentist/hygienist.
- Help identify related medical/dental and/or social problems.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and materials and document inventory accurately.
- Provide age‑appropriate care.
- Report to all scheduled work sites and shifts on time, fully prepared; locations may change at the discretion of the supervisor.
- Engage in all offered training, consultations, and supervision made available.
- Follow and fully implement the Corporate Compliance Program.
- Respond professionally to directives, advice, and feedback from supervisory and training personnel and coworkers.

- High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification.
- Dental Assistant Certification or completion of a dental assisting program preferred.
- Minimum of six months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish.
