An Infectious Disease team in Decatur, Illinois is adding a physician to its growing service line. The schedule offers three outpatient weeks each month with no call, followed by one inpatient week with a typically low-volume 24-hour call. With two experienced  already in place and strong institutional support, the role offers a straightforward schedule and a broad clinical mix.

Practice Details

• Join two experienced Infectious Disease physicians in a well-supported, expanding service line
• Balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient  with telehealth support available during inpatient service weeks
• Strong institutional backing with resources designed to support long-term program growth
• Collegial environment with a clear focus on high-quality, patient-centered care

Schedule

• Three outpatient weeks per month with no call responsibilities
• One inpatient week per month with a single 24-hour call that is typically very low volume
• Block-based structure built for consistency, predictability, and long-term sustainability

Compensation & Benefits

• Generous guaranteed salary for the first two years, followed by RVU-based compensation
• $75,000 sign-on bonus plus an annual 5 percent incentive
• Relocation assistance up to $10,000 and employer-sponsored retirement plans
• Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, malpractice with tail, PTO, paid holidays, and a $4,000 annual CME allowance

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
• Comfortable with a combination of inpatient and outpatient practice
• Values collaboration, clinical excellence, and a schedule with real boundaries
• Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois
