- Compensation $22.00/hour
Reports to the franchise owner/manager or designee and to client supervisors and managers.
Education- Has completed State of Illinois Professional Educator curriculum endorsed for Paraprofessional's.
- Obtained an associate degree (or higher) at a regionally accredited institution of higher education or equivalent to obtain a license.
Possess a valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License endorsed for Paraprofessional.
ExperienceMust have at least 6 months of experience working with special needs children-students with medical/developmental disabilities.
Credentials- Background screening as required by the client.
- CPR from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
- Hepatitis B Statement or Declination [OSHA 29 CFR, (f)(2)].
- Tuberculosis screening test.
- Physical exam.
- Drug screening as required by the client contract.
- Work sites vary.
- Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
- The physical demands are representative of those that may be required by an employee to successfully perform the representative duties and responsibilities of the job.
