Preschool Teacher

Job Description

Licensed Childcare center and preschool looking for energetic individuals with the passion for working with young children to fill our open Preschool Teacher positions. New classrooms opening, multiple positions available, must be enthusiastic, innovative, open-minded, creative and highly organized, with great interpersonal skills.

• Developing lesson plans.
• Meeting the individual needs of the children.
• Parent communication
• Participation in staff and training meetings.
• Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level.
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
• Using assessment tools.
• Committing to continuing education.

• AA degree or higher in Early Childhood with Minimum 6 credit hours of college coursework in ECE REQUIRED
• Preschool or Infant Toddler CDA
• Gateways ECE OR Infant Toddler Credential 2 or higher
• Head Start experience a plus
• Gateway credentials a plus
• Must have a flexible Schedule
• Experience working in a licensed daycare setting required
