Job Description
Middle School LBS1 Teacher – Streamwood, Illinois
Essential Functions- Prepare and implement the instructional process for students with IEP's
- Deliver instruction through the use of curriculum materials and educational software
- Develop daily lesson plans and classroom schedule that reflect state and school requirements
- Implement standards for student behavior to ensure a safe, secure, and effective learning environment by providing a high degree of structure, clear expectations, and consistency
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
- Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; master's degree a plus
- Eligibility to apply for an Illinois PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement
- Must be willing to work up to 37.5 hours per week
