School Psychologist

Greater Chicago, IL Area

Phaxis Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support a school system in the Northwest portion of the greater Chicago area. This is a full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year. Part-time availability will also be considered!

As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success of students across a K–8 caseload. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive psychological services and help create positive learning environments for all students.

• Supporting a K–8 caseload
• Conducting psycho educational evaluations and re-evaluations
• Interpreting assessment results and developing comprehensive reports
• Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Providing consultation to teachers, administrators, and families
• Assisting with behavioral intervention planning and progress monitoring
• Supporting student social-emotional and academic needs
• Maintaining compliance with state and district regulations
• Start/End Dates: 8/19/2026 – 5/24/2027
• 32.5 hours/week (part-time availability will also be considered)

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (or eligibility)
• Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
