Job Title:

Adjunct Professor – Art Appreciation at Austin Community College.

• Prepare and teach Art Appreciation courses for Early College High School and Dual Credit sections using instructional strategies aligned with departmental learning outcomes.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback to meet program and departmental expectations.
• Provide teaching and mentoring services to a multicultural student population in a nondiscriminatory manner.
• Remain current in the field through professional development activities.
• Perform related tasks as assigned by the department chair, dean, or vice presidents.
• Demonstrate proficiency with computer applications, online resources, and classroom technologies.
• Use an online learning management system such as Blackboard to develop course content and manage administrative duties.
• Meet professional standards including attendance certifications, grade submission deadlines, regular office hours, civility, and policy compliance.

Minimum educational requirement in accordance with SACSCOC accreditation standards. Reliable transportation to assigned campuses.
