Part Time Educator – Right At School
Right At School provides safe, fun, and meaningful extended‑day enrichment programs for more than 35,000 students across 17 states. We offer after school, before school, and break‑camp programs that give students a place to learn, play, grow, and be a kid.
Location: Evanston School District. Candidates may work at any location within the district.
Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:45 am–9:00 am and 3:15 pm–6:00 pm. (Schedule may vary.)
Compensation: $16–$19 per hour based on education and experience.
Responsibilities- Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
- Deliver a dynamic daily curriculum that engages children in academic and social character‑building to expand school‑day learning.
- Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well‑being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.

- At least one year of experience working with children under 13.
- College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift 25 lb.

- Ability to meet state‑specific requirements (CPR, Mandated Reporter training, TB test, etc.).
