This is a Full-Time Administrative position at grade 18, with an annual salary range of $99,836 to $133,115. The salary offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College’s compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.

The Associate Dean of Adult Education assists the Dean of Adult Education in the leadership, administration, and continuous improvement of Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs. The position provides oversight of instructional operations, faculty supervision, curriculum development, program assessment, student success initiatives, and compliance with state, federal, and institutional requirements. The Associate Dean serves as a key leader in supporting high-quality educational opportunities for adult learners and advancing departmental strategic goals.

1. Master’s degree in adult education, TESOL, or a related field Three years’ experience teaching in an adult education program
2. Two years’ program coordination and supervision experience, experience with staff/faculty evaluation and staff/faculty onboarding and training. Working with collective bargaining units preferred.
3. Two years’ management experience, experience with data interpretation, program implementation, and course scheduling preferred
4. Experience writing and implementing grants, familiarity with ICCB Adult Education & Literacy (or the equivalent) funding and policies
5. Extensive experience working with individuals from various educational, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds
6. Ability to problem-solve complex faculty, student, staff, and programmatic issues Strong understanding of best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment
7. Ability to work flexible schedule (including evenings and some weekends) when needed.

1. Provide leadership and supervision for Adult Education faculty and staff. Recruit, interview, hire, train, schedule, supervise, support, and evaluate full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, and staff.
