The company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the design of mission‑critical high‑performance computing (HPC) data centre infrastructure across global projects. The role focuses on delivering reliable, high‑density environments by overseeing power system design from medium voltage distribution to rack‑level delivery. Acting as the Engineer of Record, the role sets engineering standards, solves complex power challenges, and uses modern tools, including AI, to improve design and delivery.
Responsibilities- System Design:
Lead the electrical design for critical infrastructure projects, including generator plants, UPS systems, and redundant power architectures. - Engineer of Record Duties:
Assume responsible charge for deliverables, ensuring precise phase balancing and circuit allocation from RPPs to device cabinets. - Project Leadership:
Direct multi‑discipline teams (mechanical, structural, and tech) while managing project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. - Field Operations:
Conduct site investigations, commissioning oversight, and feasibility studies for new datacenter site selections. - AI Integration:
Actively apply AI‑driven analytics and LLM tools to optimise engineering workflows and power data calculations. - QA/QC:
Perform rigorous technical reviews and gap analyses on work produced by external partners and internal teams.
- Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering and a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license. - Experience:
7+ years in mission‑critical facility or datacenter design, with a focus on high‑performance computing. - Technical Mastery:
Expert‑level knowledge of medium/low voltage distribution, fault tolerance, and NEC/NFPA/IEEE codes. - Software Proficiency:
Expert in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and BIM workflows.
