Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (NPD) – MV and HV Switchgear

Location: Chicago, IL (On-site at R&D Center | Relocation Provided)

You will have daily access to an industry-leading, full‑scale, in‑house testing facility, including:

• 500kV AC withstand & 1300kV lightning impulse labs.
• Environmental chambers (down to
  -70°C).
• The autonomy to concept, prototype, and “break” your designs in real‑time.

• Lead NPD for medium and high‑voltage switch gear, reclosers, and fault‑protection systems.
• Design and integrate high‑accuracy current and voltage sensors for grid automation.
• Hands‑on test plan creation and execution in the high‑voltage lab.
• Drive product design decisions that impact critical electric utility and data center infrastructure.

• 5+ years of experience in MV or HV power systems design (>1kV)
• Strong grasp of IEEE/NEC standards and a passion for power systems protection and fault response.
• A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required.lid>
