Overview
Join HARTING! A leader in connectivity products and custom solutions. The Regional Industrial Engineering role is responsible for developing and maintaining production technology standards across the Americas, ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Develop and update the technology landscape in collaboration with plants.
- Act as regional process owner for specific technologies.
- Provide technical support by identifying, selecting, and qualifying new suppliers.
- Organize local process and technology transfer and training.
- Drive technical development of existing production processes in alignment with global standards.
- Benchmark and share best practices across the region.
- Plan and realize investments, including capacity expansion and new technologies.
- Support plants as a 2nd‑level resource for solving complex quality and technical problems from internal or external complaints.
- Plan and implement process optimizations and rationalizations.
- Design workplaces and manage time effectively.
- Prepare and execute industrial engineering tasks for duplication and relocation projects.
- Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of engineering experience in electronics, cable, or automotive sectors.
- Basic knowledge of electrical connectors and connector assembly.
- Fundamental knowledge in pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with SAP and core industrial engineering tools.
- Preferred automotive industry knowledge (IATF 16949).
- Strong customer orientation, leadership, attention to detail, and ethical conduct.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
- Sense of urgency focused on achieving results.
- Experience with process innovation and design of efficient, sustainable processes.
- Commitment to corporate environmental and social responsibility.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $115,000, commensurate with experience.
- Eligible for a 5% discretionary annual bonus.
- 21 days of PTO at start, with potential to earn up to 36 days over time.
