Senior Engineer – Capital Projects

POSITION OVERVIEW
- Manage full life cycle of sustainability projects — feasibility, design, budgeting, execution, start-up.
- Develop sustainability strategies and ESG initiatives (LEED, GRI, SASB, etc.).
- Lead project engineering and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Mentor junior staff and oversee contractors.
- Frequent travel to company sites (up to 40%).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree:
Bachelor's in Engineering or related field. - Experience:
5+ years in capital project management in chemical manufacturing (sustainability/utility focus preferred). - Experience in sustainability planning & reporting.
- Strong project management, troubleshooting, and Lean/5S/Root-Cause Analysis knowledge.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards; SAP experience preferred.
- Advanced MS Office skills, excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Physical ability for plant/site work, including climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and PPE use.
