We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join a highly skilled Automation Development team responsible for designing, building, and implementing advanced robotic and automated manufacturing systems. This role offers the opportunity to own projects from initial concept through installation, working with cutting‑edge technologies in controls, robotics, machine vision, and industrial automation.

What You’ll Do- Own controls projects from initial concept through equipment installation and startup
- Develop and program automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control, and machine vision
- Design and troubleshoot electrical systems, safety circuits, I/O, and industrial networks
- Review electrical schematics and support controls hardware architecture
- Debug and optimize equipment performance through testing and validation
- Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to deliver successful automation projects
- Support equipment installation at manufacturing sites
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience with custom automation or industrial controls
- HMI/SCADA experience (WinCC or Ignition preferred)
- Experience with sensors, servos, VFDs, industrial networking, machine vision, or robotics
- Familiarity with robotic systems (FANUC or KUKA experience a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands‑on approach to solving technical challenges
