Engineer, Electrical Engineering

Constellation Energy is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to support design, operation, and improvement of energy generation and distribution assets. In this role, you will perform equipment sizing and selection, develop technical specifications and drawings, support commissioning, and troubleshoot plant systems to enhance reliability and efficiency. You will analyze performance data, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and support sustainability initiatives.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll help deliver innovative solutions that reduce carbon footprint and optimize energy costs for residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and improve mechanical or electrical systems for energy generation and distribution assets
• Develop technical specifications, drawings, and equipment requirements for new and existing projects
• Support commissioning, testing, and validation of equipment and systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot plant performance to improve reliability, safety, and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on innovation and sustainability initiatives
• Perform data analysis and reporting on system performance and energy optimization
• Provide technical support for capital projects and maintenance activities
