Service Mechanical Engineer

IMA Automation USA Inc, a leading tech innovator in software, AI, and cybersecurity, is seeking a Service Mechanical Engineer to support advanced automation solutions. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex mechanical and mechatronic systems used by global clients. You'll collaborate closely with software and controls teams, perform system testing and commissioning, and provide on-site and remote technical support.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems for automation solutions
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and mechatronic issues in customer environments
• Collaborate with software and controls engineers on integrated automation projects
• Perform system testing, calibration, and validation of automated equipment
• Document service activities, maintenance reports, and technical findings
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
• Assist in commissioning new automated systems and upgrades
• Recommend improvements to system reliability and performance
• Train customer staff on operation and basic maintenance of equipment
• Follow safety, compliance, and quality standards during all field work
