The Elgin Symphony Orchestra is holding auditions for the position of Associate Concertmaster. The upcoming season runs from September through May, offering a minimum of 54 services for the selected candidate.
The compensation for the Associate Concertmaster position is set at $217.01 per service, along with additional benefits including mileage reimbursement and a pension contribution of 13.189% through the AFM/EPF. Candidates must also join Local #10-208, Chicago Federation of Musicians, within 30 days of employment. Auditions will be conducted in person and behind a screen to ensure fairness.
