We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will accurately enter, update, and maintain financial data across multiple systems while ensuring compliance with internal controls and industry regulations. This role is essential for maintaining data integrity within our accounting, reporting, and client management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter, review, and verify financial data in company databases and accounting systems
  • Process invoices, receipts, statements, and transaction records with a high level of accuracy
  • Maintain and update client account information, portfolio data, and financial documents
  • Reconcile discrepancies by reviewing information and identifying issues in source documents
  • Ensure data compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in generating reports, spreadsheets, and financial summaries for internal use
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy
  • Safeguard sensitive financial information and maintain confidentiality
  • Perform routine data audits to ensure system integrity
  • Support administrative tasks as needed within the finance department
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business preferred
  • Previous data entry or administrative experience in a financial or professional environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and data entry tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work with confidential financial data responsibly
  • Familiarity with financial terminology and documentation is a plus
Skills
  • Fast and accurate typing skills (45+ WPM preferred)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
