Role Summary

The Reconciliation team is a critical part of Antares, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of investment data internally across the firm and externally with counter parties, fund administrators, custodians, and investor reporting stakeholders. The Assistant Vice President will lead day‑to‑day reconciliation activities across cash, positions, and operational data sets related to Antares funds, driving timely break resolution, strengthening controls, improving processes, and partnering across operations, finance, technology, and external service providers to deliver accurate, efficient, and scalable reconciliation outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and month‑end reconciliation activities across cash, positions, trades, and other key operational balances to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Manage and develop a team of reconciliation professionals, including prioritization of work, training, and performance oversight.
  • Investigate, elevate, and drive resolution of breaks and exceptions by partnering with internal teams, custodians, fund administrators, and technology partners.
  • Establish and monitor key control measures, service levels, and exception management routines to reduce operational risk and improve reconciliation quality.
  • Analyze reconciliation trends, root causes, and recurring issues, and work with the Vice President, Reconciliations to implement process improvements to reduce breaks, manual effort, and turnaround times.
  • Partner with internal teams and external providers to support new product onboarding, process changes, and platform enhancements.
  • Prepare and communicate reconciliation metrics, risk themes, and issue updates to the Vice President, Reconciliation in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Maintain current process documentation, operating procedures, and audit‑ready support for key reconciliation workflows and controls.
  • Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and remediation efforts related to reconciliation processes and controls.
  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset by leveraging data, workflow tools, and emerging technology to increase efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in reconciliation, loan operations, fund operations, accounting operations, or a related financial services function.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders, and managing issue resolution in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of operational controls, exception management, and reconciliation best practices within financial services.
Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess complex data sets and identify root causes of reconciliation breaks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel, and experience with reconciliation or accounting platforms such as Geneva, Indus Valley Partners, DUCO.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, senior stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience documenting processes, defining controls, and supporting audit and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and the ability to coach and develop high‑performing teams.
  • Project management and change management experience, including process redesign, system enhancements, or workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of syndicated loans and private credit operations required.
  • Experience with Loan IQ, Wall Street Office, or similar platforms is a plus.

  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Base Salary Range

$105,000 - $120,000
