Portfolio Management Team Lead – Captive Insurance Banking

Responsibilities

• Participate in the establishment of the portfolio management, collateral management and policy infrastructure for the Captive Insurance Banking division.
• Participate in the oversight, underwriting, monitoring and compliance management for the Captive Insurance Banking division of Global Advisory, including captive and reinsurance companies.
• Underwrite and present credit limits to approval authorities.
• Own primary responsibility for monitoring commercial portfolio risks.
• This role will encompass both credit underwriting and portfolio management.
• Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and ongoing credit monitoring of assigned portfolio.
• Actively monitors conditions in assigned markets and provides updates when appropriate to Division Management and approval/oversight authorities.
• Participation in strategic and innovative development in process workflows for this new initiative and products.
• Maintain frequent contact with Trade Operations, AML/BSA, Credit and other key partners to stay current on internal requirements and trends.
• Will work directly with the Team Leaders, Relationship Managers, Regional Credit Officer, Credit Review, and Segment Risk across the commercial bank.
• Must be able to work on a multi-locale team.

• 10+ years of Commercial Credit Experience
• 5+ years of experience in underwriting and collateral management (liquid financial collateral) for Captive Insurance and/or Reinsurance Companies.
• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of experience in underwriting and collateral management (liquid financial collateral) for Captive Insurance and/or Reinsurance Companies. (Preferred)
• Management experience
• Ability to present and effectively communicate with all levels of management
• MBA or comparable advanced degree (Preferred)
