Financial Crimes Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex data analysis and document findings
• Evaluate system activity and generated alerts in accordance with compliance expectations
• Make appropriate risk decisions related to financial crimes risk
• Escalate matters associated with Financial Crimes activity
• Work with various business units to understand Financial Crimes alerted activity
• Complete assigned work in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging risks in compliance and regulatory environment
• Identify areas of process improvement to increase departmental efficiencies

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• Three to five years of financial crimes or equivalent experience
• Understanding of financial crimes trends, typologies, and regulatory requirements
• Solid understanding of operational and organizational structure and banking products
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Sound judgment and logical thought processes when developing solutions
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task under deadlines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to provide coaching and training support to employees
