Tax Manager – Federal Mergers and Acquisitions – Financial Instruments

Responsibilities

• Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on delivering due diligence and tax structuring services
• Identify and develop high value tax opportunities for our clients
• Assist clients on a range of financial instrument and related M&A tax issues
• Planning, managing and executing on advice engagements with limited supervision
• Develop, motivate, and train team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited university
• an active CPA license in the state of residence or primary office; an active Enrolled Agent (EA) license; or an active Attorney license
• Minimum of six years of tax experience in public accounting
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to meet client service, quality, and performance expectations within applicable deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with firm personnel and clients
• Effective project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously
