Job Description & How to Apply Below

A growing industrial manufacturing organization seeking a Director of FP&A to provide financial leadership, business insight, and strategic support across the organization.

This is a high-impact leadership position for an analytical finance professional who can connect financial performance to operational execution and business strategy. The Director of FP&A will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, performance analysis, KPI development, and strategic planning while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Human Resources, and other functional leaders.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, commercially minded finance leader who enjoys digging into the numbers, understanding what is driving performance, and translating financial information into actionable recommendations for leadership.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the company’s annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Analyze revenue, profitability, expenses, working capital, and other key financial metrics.
  • Identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and other business leaders to establish financial targets and monitor performance against plan.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful financial KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis for capital investments, strategic initiatives, and other major business decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and provide meaningful analysis of business performance.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, inventory, receivables, payables, and other balance sheet drivers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
  • Challenge assumptions and provide financial perspective on major business initiatives.
  • Lead finance-related process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements.
  • Partner with IT and Finance to optimize ERP functionality, reporting, and financial workflows.
  • Develop standardized reporting and analytical processes that improve visibility, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Lead, develop, coach, and hold Finance and Accounting personnel accountable for performance.
  • Help strengthen financial controls, processes, and accountability across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing Finance and/or Accounting teams.
  • Strong experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
, preferably with an understanding of manufacturing financial operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial controls.
  • Experience using financial and operational data to identify trends, explain variances, and improve business performance.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Experience with SAP and the ability to leverage financial data and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools is preferred.
  • Experience leading finance process improvements, automation initiatives, and/or ERP implementations is preferred.
Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to join an organization where Finance is expected to be a strategic business partner, not simply a reporting function
. The successful candidate will have significant visibility with leadership and the opportunity to influence financial performance, operational decisions, and long-term business strategy.
