About the PositionAllied Travel Careers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Elgin, Illinois, 60120!
We are seeking a qualified Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 14-week assignment in a Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care setting. This position is covering a vacancy and offers a consistent weekday schedule. The caseload consists primarily of LTC/SNF patients, with some adult psychiatric patients.
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare and therapy teams
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals and progress
Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Patient Population
Primarily Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC)
Some adult behavioral health / psychiatric patients
Requirements
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
SNF/LTC experience preferred
Experience with adult behavioral health a plus
Ability to meet all compliance and credentialing requirements
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
This travel assignment is ideal for SLPs seeking a stable Monday–Friday schedule and experience in a SNF/LTC setting.
