About the Position

Allied Travel Careers  is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Elgin, Illinois, 60120!

We are seeking a qualified Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 14-week assignment in a Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care setting. This position is covering a vacancy and offers a consistent weekday schedule. The caseload consists primarily of LTC/SNF patients, with some adult psychiatric patients.

Assignment Details

  • Contract Length: 14 weeks

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare and therapy teams

  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals and progress

  • Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Patient Population

  • Primarily Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC)

  • Some adult behavioral health / psychiatric patients

Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license

  • SNF/LTC experience preferred

  • Experience with adult behavioral health a plus

  • Ability to meet all compliance and credentialing requirements

  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills

This travel assignment is ideal for SLPs seeking a stable Monday–Friday schedule and experience in a SNF/LTC setting.
