Job DescriptionRadiologic Technologist performs a variety of technical radiologic procedures. Assists the physicians and uses independent judgment in selection of technical factors using ionizing radiation. The Cath Lab/EP Scrub Rad Tech is a key member of the interventional cardiology and electrophysiology team, working directly alongside physicians to provide high-quality patient care during invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. This role combines advanced imaging skills with sterile scrub responsibilities to support safe and effective outcomes.

PayBased on experience, starting at $29.08. Estimated compensation range: $29.08 - $45.07.
Responsibilities- Checks inventory levels and orders supplies as needed.
- Copies CDs for patients and/or transfer facility.
- Prints images of procedure.
- Ensures all sharps have been properly disposed of at the end of each use.
- Orders, acknowledges and properly charges for all exams performed in the Cath Lab.
- Performs proper tube warm up daily.
- Positions patients and various body parts for radiologic exams.
- Assists physician with specified exams or procedures.
- Prepares patients and equipment for examination by physician.
- Selects proper techniques and accessories for proper exposures.
- Stocks examination rooms with linen and other supplies.
- Removes soiled linens from examination rooms.
- Uses proper collimation and patient shielding when appropriate.
- Associate's Degree (Required)
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days; BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
- ARRT – Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) within 18 months.
- ARRT – Radiography (R).
- IEMA – Illinois Emergency Management Agency certification.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
