Overview

Behavior Technician (BT) – A role focused on working one‑on‑one with children ages 18 months to 6 years diagnosed with autism in a center‑based environment. The position supports the development of skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Deliver ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA, following individualized treatment plans.
• Build skills through play, connection, and presence that creates a safe environment.
• Track progress and document sessions using ABA technology.
• Create a safe, positive environment for every child you work with.
• Prepare for and obtain RBT certification within the first 45 days.

• Full‑time availability Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable attendance and completion of administrative tasks.
• Resilience and compassion, especially on challenging days.
• Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services; experience with children is a plus.
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
• Physical capability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds; sit on floor, stoop, stand, walk, and move quickly with kids when needed.
