Certified Medical Assistant – Internal Medicine – Tinley Park
Type:
Full‑Time, 40 hours per week.
Work schedule:
Monday‑Thursday, 7:30AM‑5:00PM;
Friday, 8:30AM‑4:30PM;
One to two Saturdays per month, 8:00AM‑12:00PM;
Half‑day or day off during the week if a Saturday is worked.

Tinley Park, IL. Travel:
As needed.

- Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history
- Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first‑aid procedures
- Assist with immunizations or injections as a certified medical assistant
- Help patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, and process provider orders; update charting and filing
- Conduct onsite laboratory testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests
- Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
- Deliver excellent customer service exemplifying company values
- Travel to assist other local clinics as required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a medical assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
- Active medical assistant certification (AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, AAMA) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire
- Prior experience as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or at least two years in a medical office assisting with patient care
- Prior experience using an electronic medical record such as Epic preferred
- College graduates from a health sciences program interested in patient‑care experience and a healthcare career are welcome to apply
Base pay ranges from $21.43 to $23.63 per hour for a Medical Assistant; $22.97 to $24.57 per hour for a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant, with actual pay determined by skills, experience, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
